Laser Therapy
Retinal Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is NON-INVASIVE treatment that is conducted in the office by your retinal physicians. At University Retina and Macula Associates, we use laser therapy for several conditions. Below are the more common uses of laser therapy.
Diabetic eye disease
Retinal tear and detachment
Laser therapy is well tolerated and generally painless. Most laser procedures take 10 to 15 minutes. These procedures may be done the same day as your visit at the discretion of your physician. There is generally no recovery time or need for special instructions after the laser.
